ENDO Reha Center Hamburg

The free Hanseatic City of Hamburg is one of the largest cities in Germany. With its diverse leisure and cultural range it belongs to the most popular German cities. Hamburg owes its nickname “Gate to the world” to its international harbour. Not surprising, as the Hamburg harbour is the largest German sea harbour and the ninth largest container harbour worldwide. But not only the ever-changing harbour and the Elb River with its beaches of almost Caribbean flair in summer characterise Hamburg. Especially the Alster in the heart of the city provides an oasis of relaxation. No other German city is characterized so much by water as Hamburg is. More than 2500 bridges lead over the many little rivers and canals – more than in Venice does.

A highlight of every Hamburg visit is the Hamburg Harbour, which is more than 800 years old. From here the cruises start on which you can explore the harbour area the best. Furthermore a walk through the new harbour city or the historic Speicherstadt (warehouse district) is worthwhile. The warehouses are partially still used today, to store goods such as coffee. And also Hamburgs Michel, Hamburg’s 132m high landmark should be visited. Not far from here is Hamburg’s most famous street is in the district St. Pauli near the HELIOS ENDO-Klinik: the Reeperbahn

A part from an extensive sightseeing-Tour shopping shouldn’t be missed: shopping in Hamburg means ambling through luxurious boutiques and strolling through quirky alternative stores. Surrounded by the Binnenalster, Jungfernstieg, Speicherstadt and main station you can find hundreds of shopping possibilities from classical warehouses, small speciality shops, superstores, shopping malls right through to exclusive flagship stores of famous fashion labels and other trademarks. And the exclusive „Alsterpassage“ in the heart of Hamburg is of course obligatory for all Shopping-Fans.
